Howard County’s only off-leash dog park offers two separate enclosures: the regular area and the small, timid, or elderly dog area. There are also fenced areas for rent and dog training is available. The off-leash area is open seasonally, weather permitting. It is your responsibility to clean up after your dog!
Daily Permits: You may purchase a daily permit on-site for $5 per visit. You must present proof of a valid dog license and current rabies vaccination while at the park using a daily permit.
Annual Permits: You may purchase a annual permit for $40. This can be paid for in person at Howard County Rec and Parks, 7120 Oakland Mills Road, Columbia, MD 21046 or mail the application to this location. Go to their website (see below) for a copy of the application.
Worthington Dog Park is maintained by The Howard County Dog Owners Group (HoCoDog), an all-volunteer group, The group serves as an advisory committee to the Howard County Recreation & Parks Department.
