Purpose: To offer low cost spay/neuter certificates, financial aid to those unable to afford spay/neuter surgeries, and to reduce pet over-population through sterilization.

Service: A certificate for routine surgery only will be mailed for use at a participating veterinary hospital. The cost of the certificate is as follows: male cat, $45; female cat, $60, male dog, $60; and female dog, $75. Restrictions do apply. Any charges not covered by the certificate must be paid by the pet owner to the veterinarian. SNAP will provide a list of participating veterinarians in Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. SNAP certificates expire 6 months from the date of issue. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your money order or certified check made payable to SNAP. No personal checks are accepted. Call to place a credit card order.

Eligibility: Anyone of any age who needs assistance for spay/neuter surgeries should contact the SNAP Program.
