Potomac Valley Bernese Mountain Dog Club

Rescue is a popular term that may infer some degree of hero status to the rescuer. We’re not heroes, but concerned individuals focused on the goal of finding the best new home for purebred Bernese Mountain Dogs that, due to a variety of circumstances, come to our attention. We have been involved with innumerable placements over the years due to changing life situations, from give-ups because buying the puppy was a mistake or the dog’s personality did not suit its family, to family emergencies such as illness, divorce, relocation, economic stress, and even murder.
