Colonial Newfoundland Club and Rescue

One of the most important of the club’s activities is rescuing unwanted or abandoned Newfs. When a club member is made aware of a Newfoundland in need, rescue operations immediately begin. The dog is brought into the club’s fold, placed in a foster home, given any required veterinary care, and evaluated for temperament and socialization. If the dog is adoptable, the search for a new family begins. This is a great way to acquire a Newf that will be eternally grateful for his new home.
