Wildlife Removal & Relocation

The College Park Animal Control Service is a municipal agency created to serve the residents and the animals of College Park, MD. We respond to calls regarding domestic animals, exotic animals, and wildlife. When possible, we transport cats and dogs found within the city to our local shelter. Our adoption program is focused on animals found at large, stray, and lost within the city limits. This program is funded partially by city funds, but relies heavily on the donations to the Animal Welfare Committee, which was created to support the Animal Control Program. Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center is the county’s Animal Shelter and is a division of the Howard County Police Department. We are a government agency dedicated to enforcing animal control laws, promoting the humane treatment of animals, providing adoption services, discounted spay/neuter services, and educating the public on animal issues. We handle between four and five thousand animals a year. All dogs, cats and rabbits adopted from Howard County Animal Control & Adoption Center are spayed and neutered before adoption and receive all age related vaccines.
