You don’t need a dog to love Dogfest! Experience a fun-filled day of activities for furry-four legged friends, children, and adults!
Reisterstown, MD – Join Baltimore Humane Society at our annual Dogfest event taking place on Saturday, October 14, from 11 am – 4 pm at the Baltimore Humane Society (BHS), located at 1601 Nicodemus Road in Reisterstown, MD. Dogfest is a family fun event and our largest fundraiser and community event celebrating animal lovers of all kinds. Plus, it directly benefits the animals in need of care at our shelter!
With over 3,000 attendees every year, this event attracts animal lovers from all over the state. There is an activity for everyone during this day of games, contests, delicious food and fun!
There will be fun contests for dogs and prizes for Best Costume, Best Kisser, Best Dancer, Best Owner/Pet Look-alike, Catch the Treat, Musical Sit and Best Pet Trick – all judged by our local celebrity panel.
Children will have the opportunity to experience fun animal themed arts and crafts, with a bounce house, face painting, and more. In addition, there will be a vendor marketplace to shop for goodies and adoptable animals from different pet rescue groups. Delicious food and treats will be available on site as well.
Enjoy a variety of games set up for dogs to enjoy with their humans including, a 20-yard dash, bubble chase, paw painting and fun in the sandpit! There will be opportunities for dogs to try out an agility course, and dogs present at the event can even qualify for the AKC Canine Good Citizenship Award.
